Worlds (Part 2)

“That one! You read more of that one” The young man said, picking up another book. “Jin huh?”

The woman grabbed the second book from him examining it. “It seems promising. However, we need to survey more before we come back to this. Did you notice it though?”

“Notice what?” He asked leaning back in his chair clearly losing interest.

“The story shifted perspective halfway through.” She remarked while skimming through the next book.

The young man sat up again, apparently more interested now. “You’re right. Did our presence change things?”

“There is a theory,” She mused “there has been evidence in the past that when one observes a world, it directly alters it. However, it’s hard to know how the act of observing itself would affect it.”

“We should be cautious then. What’s the next one?”
