Defenders (Part 32)

Arthur remembered a story he heard about a construction worker who broke his fall by throwing a tool into the water ahead of him and broke the surface tension. Was it a true story? Or some kinda urban myth? What could he lose by trying it? It was going to die anyways… all he had was the data pad.

He did his best to stop his tumble and focused on falling in the direction of one of the lakes. It was approaching fast and he could barely think before the blue waters were about to close in front of him and he took his data-pad and threw it as hard as he could right before he impacted into the water and everything around him turned to black once again.
